Alvaro Pascual-Leone, keynote speaker at Hive 2010

Professor Alvaro Pascual-Leone, Director of the Center for Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation and Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, will be a keynote speaker at the HiVE 2010 Workshop to be held at Starlab and Cosmocaixa on Friday June 11th. The workshop will present research on a new generation of powerful and controllable non-invasive brain stimulation technologies. Prof. Niels Birbaumer and Demetrios N. Velis will joain Prof. Pascual-Leone as keynote speakers.

The event is organized by HiVE, a FET Open FP7 EU project (2008-2012) that aims to research stimulation paradigms to design, develop and test a new generation of more powerful and controllable non-invasive brain stimulation technologies. The vision of HiVE is that in the next 50 years we will witness the coming of age of technologies for fluent brain-computer and computer-mediated brain-to-brain interaction.

In order to enhance discussion and to include the most current research the workshop is open to all participants working in this field and all are kindly asked to submit their latest research results.
