Starlab is moving!
From February 22nd on we will be carrying out our research and development activities in our new Barcelona headquarters - C/ Teodor Roviralta, 45 - right next to Barcelona's Cosmocaixa science museum. Our new 800 square-meter facility, distributed in two modernist buildings, is a perfect fit to the innovative spirit of the company and strengthens our commitment to research while boosting our capability to continue to grow in a healthy manner.
This milestone marks Starlab's evolution to a new level after a productive ten-year period at the Fabra Observatory, where we were born as a company in 2000. During this time, we have carried out world-class research through both our Space and Neuroscience programs, launched products such as Oceanpal (a GPS-Reflections related product) and Enobio (the first electrophysiology sensor system for recording EEG outside of the clinic or lab), developed applications like HISAT and StarWater (Earth Observation services providing authorities with snow cover maps or coastal water quality data), and have won awards such as HiT Barcelona Healthcare Innovation Tournament, Endesa's Novare Award or ESA's Technology Success prize.
In the coming decade Starlab aims to become a world reference for the transformation of science into technologies with a positive impact on society and the planet.
