INTEGRATION OF EO DATA AND GNSS-R SIGNALS FOR ENERGY APPLICATIONS
ESA-funded feasibility study for a serviced aimed at assimilating Earth Observation data in a distrubuted hydrological model (including GNSS-R technology for water level assessment in reservoirs, spaceborne radar snow monitoring) to support the energy production management through improved resource monitoring and forecasting.
Starlab's role: Coordination and management as prime contractor. Provision of satellite-based estimates of soil moisture, snow covered area. Deployment and operation of GNSS-R based proprietary sensors (OCEANPAL).
