The JELLYFOR project (Eureka Eurostars) developed a service to forecast jellyfish occurrence for given salinity, temperature and chlorophyll-a conditions, adding the satellite technology to the previously tested techniques in order to enlarge the coverage in near real time and have a better quality of the data.

Starlab's role: Project coordination as prime contractor. Development of machine learning-based forecast model of jellyfish occurrence and service implementation.
