The MarCoast (GMES Service Element programme) aimed at scaling up services which had been consolidated in the frame of ROSES and COASTWATCH ESA projects. MarCoast targeted to deliver a single portfolio of marine and coastal services at the European scale.

Starlab's role: In the framework of MarCoast Starlab was the service provider for the Spanish Water Quality Service, delivering the service to 5 different regional and national users.
